Google puts a price band on 123 of the 125 coffee shops measured. 61 of those are in the lowest band — almost half. 49 of them open by 8:00. Cheap here does not mean worse: the highest rating in this band is 4.8.
The tables are split by review count for the same reason as everywhere else on this site. A high rating from thirty people and a high rating from three thousand are different claims, and putting them in one list makes them look comparable when they are not.

A filter coffee at a chain runs about ¥350–450 and a latte about ¥450–550. Google's band is set from what people report paying, not from a menu we checked, so treat it as a range rather than a price.
